Miss Stephanie Martin
My personal assistant in the dance department, Stephanie was one of my first pupils a determined young lady. She began her training here at Chiltern at the age of nine going on at sixteen to Liverpool Theatre School, and Phil Winston's Theatre Works Blackpool. She danced professionally before returning to her greatest love teaching. We are lucky to have this young lady in our school and I was delighted when Stephanie opened her own business 'The Dressing Room' which is building a solid reputation for friendly efficient service, charming customer care and an array of dance wear chosen with style by Stephanie.
Miss Michelle Byatt
Michelle is my personal assistant in the Jazz and Musical Theatre Department. She has a flair for the continual changes in the dance world. Her choreographic skills are to be applauded. Michelle trained at Merseyside Dance and Drama College then London Studio Centre graduating with a Musical Theatre Diploma. She is responsible for teaching the new I.D.T.A Musical Theatre Syllabus. Michelle is now studying level three sign language and hopes to teach dance in the deaf community.
Miss Sharon Byatt
Sharon has appeared in Londons West End as Mrs Lyons in Willy Russell's highly acclaimed Blood Brothers. During the last few months Sharon has also played Mrs Johnstone, one of theatre's most coveted female lead roles, in the West End and on the National Tour. Sharon is the only actress to have played Linda, Mrs Lyons and Mrs Johnstone in Bill Kenwrights successful production. After completing her Masters Degree in Text and Performance at Kings College and R.A.D.A. she created the prestigious D.A.D.A. course for Liverpool Theatre School and College. Sharon enjoys passing on her knowledge to our students, professional engagements permitting.
Tessa Headspeath
Head of Drama and examiner for Guild Hall. Mrs Headspeath is to so very many of Liverpools finest acting talents a true inspiration. Her past and present students have and are appearing in numerous productions in theatre and television. Tessa is a fine director and is sought after for dialect coaching for film, television and theatre.
Miss Suzanne O'Keefe Taylor
Head of Singing. A lady of talent, kindness and humility, qualities which endear her to all she meets, she always finds the time in her busy schedule for the endless stream of Merseyside's up and coming singers who can be seen in the world of West End Theatre and Television. "Miss Suzanne" as she is fondly known, trained and performed with the Doyle Carte Opera Company and still enjoys performing professionally. Miss Suzanne with her infinite patience and effervescent personality instills confidence into the most timid of pupils, encouraging them to reach their true potential. Long may she light up the pupil's lives with her spontaneous smile and optimism.
Miss Clare Mulcahey
Clare began her lessons at the fender age of three. She has enjoyed performing at the Liverpool Playhouse and the Liverpool Empire in numerous professional productions. She is currently on the D.A.D.A course at Liverpool Theatre School after gaining a Diploma in Dance from L.I.P.A. Clare is enrolled on the R.A.D programme and enjoys teaching classical ballet. She is an intelligent young lady who has been offered a place to study History and Politics at Liverpool University in the future. Whichever path Clare chooses, I am sure it will be a success. I am proud to have had her for a loyal student for so many years.
Miss Sarah Trengrove
Sarah has joined us recently to teach the R.A.D. syllabus. Sarah trained at the Harnmond school in Chester and we are happy to welcome this charming young lady to our school.
